Job Announcement - Engineer

The Garrison Diversion Conservancy District is seeking an Engineer for its Carrington, ND, office. Garrison Diversion is committed to securing a stronger future by providing a reliable, high quality and affordable water supply to benefit the people of North Dakota. By joining the Garrison Diversion team, you are not only a part of a large-scale, ground breaking project, but you are also a part of preserving and enhancing North Dakota’s natural resources and recreation programs while reaping the benefits of small town North Dakota living.

This position will assist in the planning, designing, monitoring, and/or managing of projects and programs for new construction, renovation, and improvement projects for facilities; assist with administration field activities associated with the Operation, Maintenance, and Replacement function of the Garrison Diversion Unit; assist the District Engineer in planning projects and fiscal management associated with the Garrison Diversion Operation and Maintenance program; and assist with technical activities associated with the Red River Valley Water Supply Project Study.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited school; Registration as an Engineer in Training or ability to obtain within 12 months; and valid Class D North Dakota driver’s license required. Preferred: three years experience in civil engineering and proficiency in Civil 3D and GIS.
